Four injured in cars collision at Brisbane motorway

Four individuals, including two children, were rushed to the hospital as a result of a four car collision on a congested Brisbane motorway.

About the Elizabeth Street off-ramp on the Riverside Expressway, three automobiles and a bus collided at 2.35 p.m. on Sunday.

Nine persons were examined by the paramedics who were sent to the location.

Two younger children under the age of ten, together with an adult, were treated at Prince Charles Hospital for minor wounds.

A 50-year-old lady was also sent to Royal Brisbane Hospital after sustaining minor wounds.

According to a spokeswoman for Queensland Paramedics, the bus was empty when the collision occurred.

Back in Woolloongabba, there were lengthy delays due to the collision.

By 3.30 p.m., emergency personnel had evacuated the scene of the collision, but they still advised drivers to expect delays.
