Former Zamfara Governor Yari: Senate Presidency Determined by God’s Will

During a visit from a South-South region group in Abuja, Yari emphasized that it is God alone who installs leaders and that no one should fight for positions.

Recalling the All Progressives Congress’ (APC) decision to choose Godswill Akpabio and Barau Jibrin as Deputy Senate Presidents, Yari asserted that the will of God would prevail.

He urged individuals not to contest with God, highlighting that only God can enthrone and dethrone leaders.

Yari’s Promises and Vision for the South-South

Yari expressed his commitment to working for the betterment of the South-South people if elected as Senate President.

He specifically mentioned the Ogoni cleanup and expressed confidence in its achievability under the current administration.

Support from South-South Community

Former Inspector General of Police and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the South-South community in Abuja, Mike Okiro, expressed their full support for Yari’s bid for the Senate Presidency.
