Speaking to reporters in Ibadan, Ladoja revealed that many of the concerns being acted upon by President Bola Tinubu had already been brought to Buhari’s attention.

The former governor pointed out that Buhari did not take appropriate action on matters concerning the activities of Abdulrasheed Bawa, the suspended Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), and Godwin Emefiele, the suspended Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
Ladoja suggests that Tinubu’s responsiveness to these concerns indicates that he understands the issues at hand and is willing to address them.

Ladoja emphasizes that curbing corruption will lead to significant progress for the nation.
He believes that with the elimination of subsidies and proper revenue collection, there will be no need for strict border controls to prevent subsidized petroleum from leaving the country.
Ladoja argues that when governance is streamlined and corruption is reduced, competition will thrive, resulting in lower prices and improved services, as exemplified by the telecommunications sector.
