Fayose made this remark during a press briefing with State House Correspondents after a private meeting with President Tinubu at the Aso Rock Villa in Abuja.
Acknowledging Tinubu’s Performance
While expressing his readiness to hold President Tinubu accountable, Fayose acknowledged that Tinubu had performed well since assuming office and should be commended for his efforts.
He recognized the need for encouragement and support for the president in addressing the challenges facing the country.

Fayose emphasized the importance of rallying around the president now that the elections are over.
