Former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole, has expressed his support for Senator Godswill Akpabio and Senator Jibrin Barau to assume the roles of Senate President and Deputy Senate President, respectively, in the upcoming 10th National Assembly.

This aligns with the endorsement of the APC and President-elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who also back Akpabio and Barau for the respective positions.
The ruling party, along with Tinubu, has also supported Tajudeen Abbas and Benjamin Kalu for the positions of Speaker and Deputy Speaker in the 10th House of Representatives.
