FCT Poll: Voting progresses in Gwarinpa as Security agents patrol

In Model City gate 1 Gwarinpa polling unit, 095 wards 05 sensitive material arrived.

The polling unit has a total number of 3,460 registered voters.

Ten voters were present at the unit to cast their votes while security personnel moved around to ensure a peaceful process.

While in Lungu primary school Gwarinpa, polling unit 094 ward 05, the unit has 246 registered voters.

The turnout was poor, and as of about 1:30 pm, only 20 people came out to cast their votes.

One of the party agents, Tanko Damigni from PDP, says the demolition of people’s houses in the area is one of the challenging reasons people can’t come out to vote.

Despite the odds, the process remains peaceful as security agents monitor the environs and ensure smooth actions between voters and officials.
