FCT Election: Technical issues hinder Accreditation/Voting in Kubwa

Voting is ongoing in Phase 1 site 1 polling unit 010 Usuma ward in Kubuwa.

However, the process is slow because the voters are having challenges getting accredited with the BIVAS Machine.

Voice of Nigeria correspondents spoke with the Presiding Officer, Suleiman Mukhtar.

Mr.

Mukhtar said they were having challenges accrediting voters because the pictures at the polling point does not match what is on INEC’s dashboard.

So they have to do alot of trials to get voters accredited which generally slows down the process.

Meanwhile in another polling unit 012, Usuma Ward, Kubwa, at 2:20pm everything is working smoothly, there isn’t any queue because most accredited voters in this unit have cast their votes.

The INEC officials say that they are waiting for any voter who is still willing to vote.
