Family of Late Soldier Condemns Army’s Handling of Sexual Assault Case and Calls for Justice in the UK

Los Angeles-based venture capital firm Bonfire Ventures has just closed its biggest fund yet, securing $245 million to continue its mission of backing promising early-stage B2B software companies.

Led by industry veterans Brett Queener, Mark Mullen, and Jim Andelman, the firm remains focused on investing in startups that already have a product on the market and are generating at least $500,000 in annual recurring revenue.

What This Fund Means for Startups

With this new fund, Bonfire Ventures will concentrate exclusively on the B2B software space, stepping in only at the seed stage.

The firm plans to make around ten new investments each year, writing initial checks between $2.5 million and $3.5 million while reserving 50% of its capital for follow-on funding.

For Bonfire, the definition of “B2B software” is broad.

Whether it’s enterprise or SMB-focused, subscription-based or pay-as-you-go, agentic or traditional, the key factor is that the product is code-driven and designed for business buyers.

A Legacy of Supporting High-Growth Companies

Bonfire Ventures has built a strong reputation in the venture capital world, with its partners boasting an impressive track record.

Across its predecessor funds, the firm now manages over $1 billion in assets, supporting more than 150 companies.

Its partners have held seats on over 80 boards, guided companies through more than 250 follow-on funding rounds, and helped raise over $4 billion in additional capital.

Even more impressive, Bonfire-backed companies have generated a combined $5 billion in annual revenue and have seen more than 50 successful exits, totaling over $18 billion in value.

This deep experience makes Bonfire a valuable partner for founders looking to scale their businesses.

Looking Ahead

As the firm moves forward with its latest fund, its core focus remains the same: finding, funding, and fueling the next wave of innovative B2B software startups.

With a proven track record and a fresh influx of capital, Bonfire Ventures is poised to continue making a significant impact in the world of early-stage venture capital.

For ambitious founders building the future of business software, Bonfire’s latest fund represents not just financial backing but also a wealth of experience and strategic support to help them navigate the challenges of scaling a high-growth startup.
