But the electronic tag on her ankle gave it away: this was none other than Anna Delvey, real name Anna Sorokin.

Anna Delvey became a household name after posing as a wealthy German heiress to infiltrate New York’s elite social circles.
Her elaborate scheme defrauded banks, hotels, and individuals of an estimated $275,000.
Arrested in 2017, she was convicted of multiple charges, including grand larceny and theft of services, and sentenced to four to twelve years in prison.
