“Excited to be back,”: Gugu Gumede returns TV screens

Uzalo fans will be pleased to learn that actress Gugu Gumede, who plays Mamlambo in the drama, will be returning to the program after a six-month maternity hiatus.

She expressed her delight at returning to social media.

“My 6-month maternity leave officially ends tomorrow 🫠 Excited to be back with my @uzalo_sabc1 fam, but incredibly nervous to leave my princess. Mommies, what made this transition easier for you? Please send some words of encouragement,” she wrote.

In response to the actress’s request for words of encouragement, Real Housewives of Durban star LaConco says prayer has and continues to assist her. “Don’t overthink things,” she suggested, and remember that “she is a lovely gift from God.”
