EFCC Equips Officers with Crypto Currency, Forensic Auditing Knowledge

Officers at the EFCC are being trained in crypto currency and forensic auditing.

The EFCC offered a 4-day training in Crypto-Currency, Forensic Auditing, and Investigation for its agents in order to combat some emerging crimes and build better capacities for future problems.

The program, which took place at the EFCC Academy in Karu, Abuja, from Monday, June 6, 2022 to Friday, June 10, 2022, drew participants from various cadres of the Commission’s operatives.

ACE Joseph Ogwiji, Assistant Commander of the EFCC and Acting Deputy Commandant, Administration, EFCC Academy, explained: “Crypto currency is a developing trend, so we looked at the investigation part of it to broaden the perspective of the officers.”
