Dragon’s Den Triumph: Noodle Business Success
In 2013, Ross Mendham secured a substantial investment of £60,000 for his innovative noodle and pasta business, Bare Naked Foods, on the popular BBC show Dragon’s Den.
Alleged Assault on Pregnant Partner
Recently, Mendham faced serious allegations of assaulting his partner, Annabelle Weedall, who was 32 weeks pregnant at the time.
The accusation involves punching her in the face, causing her to lose consciousness on December 2nd the prior year.
Denial and Legal Proceedings
Appearing via video link from prison at Norwich Crown Court, Mendham denied the charge of assault causing actual bodily harm.
Despite confirming his name and plea, he was remanded in custody by Judge Antony Bate until the trial’s commencement on June 5th.
Entrepreneurial Ventures and Personal Turmoil
Mendham, known for his tattoos and familial connection to former Norwich City footballer Peter Mendham, expanded his ventures beyond Bare Naked Foods. He successfully introduced low-calorie, low-carb products into major supermarkets.
Additionally, he ventured into the fashion industry in 2022 with the GOD (God of Design) brand, specializing in upcycling vintage and designer clothing alongside his partner.
However, the company dissolved in June, marking a downturn in his personal and professional endeavors.
