A dog owner is heartbroken when her pet was stolen while she was suffering a heart attack by a person she taught was helping her.

50-years old Kat Conway was out walking her Shih Poo Jessie near St Pancras Station in north London last Monday when she collapsed to the ground.

She recalls a blond dashing over to assist her, but that he suddenly bolted with the apricot-colored dog.

Kat was brought to the hospital and has already been released, but Jessie has yet to be found.

‘I’m really worried about her Glasgow who has been discharged from the hospital said.

‘She’s always with me and is my shadow.

‘This is breaking my heart and all I want is her back home so I can cuddle her.’

Kat has owned Jessie since she was a puppy, after adopting her as a stray.

The front legs of Jessie are bowed. She has been neutered and chipped, and her information has been officially registered by Kat.

She was dressed in a pink and white tartan pattern collar, harness, and leash.

Find Wee Jessie is a Facebook appeal that has been launched for the dog.

‘We believe the blond haired man has her dog,’ it says. However, he does not appear to have notified the police or the dog warden to report that the dog is in his custody.

‘We are looking for any hotel staff or passers by who witness what happened.’

A Met Police spokesperson said that the ‘Police are investigating an allegation of theft after a dog was reportedly stolen in Euston Road, NW1, on the afternoon of Monday, June 6.

‘Officers have taken a statement from the informant and enquiries are ongoing.’
