Detectives Seek Assistance in 10th and Dearborn Homicide Investigation

SPD Homicide Unit detectives are seeking the public’s help in solving the murder of Arkan J.

Al-Aboudy, who was shot and killed in an encampment on March 17^th.

In that incident, witnesses called police to the encampment in the 1000 block of South Dearborn Street around 2:15 pm and reported Mr. Al-Aboudy had been shot in the back. He later died from his injuries.

Detectives are seeking any information regarding this incident and are looking to speak with anyone who had contact with Mr. Al-Aboudy that day.  Please call the Violent Crimes Tip Line at (206)233-5000. Anonymous tips are accepted.
