Detectives Investigating Tuesday Afternoon Homicide

Detectives are investigating after a man fatally shot his wife at their Capitol Hill home.

An 89-year-old man contacted police at 1:55 pm on Tuesday and said he had shot his wife in the 200 block of 15th Avenue.

Officers responded to the home and located an 83-year-old woman deceased inside. Officers arrested the man and contacted Homicide detectives.

Detectives responded to the scene and are currently investigating.
