Detectives Investigating Saturday Morning Pioneer Square Shooting

Detectives are investigating following a shooting that left one person dead in the Pioneer Square neighborhood early Saturday morning.

Officers patrolling the area heard shots fired around 2:15 AM in the 200 block of S. Washington St. After search the area and found a man who had been shot, lying in the street.

Officers and medics attempted to provide medical aid but the victim died at the scene.
