Detectives are investigating after a man was shot and killed at a Delridge

A man was shot and murdered early Monday morning in a Delridge campsite, according to detectives.

Someone had been shot in an encampment near 26th Avenue Southwest and Southwest Juneau Street, said to a 911 caller at 12:20 a.m.

Officers came and discovered a man shooting victim who had suffered serious injuries. Medics from the Seattle Fire Department arrived on the scene and confirmed the man dead.

The scene was processed for evidence by members of the SPD’s Crime Scene Investigation Unit.

Homicide detectives were also dispatched and are continuing their investigation.
