Lucy recently shared a poignant snapshot on social media, capturing a moment when she and Jay were together, smiling for a selfie.
Jay, a 19-year-old apprentice bricklayer, was last seen on June 17 around 8 am.
He and Lucy had attended a rave in Playa de las Americas before Jay headed back alone to a remote Airbnb in Masca.
His distressing call to Lucy revealed he was lost and running low on essentials, with his phone barely functional at 1% battery.
Despite intense efforts by Spanish authorities concentrated around Masca and the Rural de Teno National Park, where Jay’s phone last pinged, the search was abruptly halted on June 30, leaving Jay’s family grappling with uncertainty.
