Designer Hope Sivi Responds After Criticism From Krishawn Brown Over Botched Prom Dress Order in Social Media Clash

Prom season is meant to be a magical time filled with sparkly gowns, excited teens, and proud parents.

But for one mother-daughter duo, that excitement turned into major disappointment—and now the drama is playing out publicly on social media.

A Designer Breaks Her Silence After Being Called Out

Hope Sivi, a designer who was hired to create a custom prom dress, has finally spoken up after facing backlash over a dress that didn’t meet expectations.

The mom who ordered the gown, Krishawn Brown, didn’t hold back when she took to social media to vent her frustration.

In a now-deleted Instagram Story, Hope defended herself, claiming she had tried to reach out to Krishawn but didn’t get a response.

Because of that, she says, she decided to cancel the final fitting.

But that explanation didn’t sit well with Krishawn.

A Furious Mom Goes Off Online

Krishawn Brown’s post quickly started gaining attention.

She shared photos and details about the situation, expressing how disappointed and hurt she was.

According to Krishawn, she paid $1,300 for the dress, only to have it fall completely short of expectations.

“This is unacceptable,” she wrote angrily. “You asked for $1,300 for this dress, cancelled the last fitting date, and sent it by someone else knowing it was messed up.

You had the audacity to ask for the remaining balance?”

And that wasn’t the end of it.

“It Felt Personal,” Says the Frustrated Mother

Krishawn didn’t mince words when describing how she felt betrayed and singled out.

She pointed out that other clients of the designer received stunning dresses, while her daughter was left with a gown that looked completely different from what was promised.

“This is what she asked for and this is what she got,” Krishawn wrote alongside comparison photos of the inspiration and the final product. “I wonder if it was personal towards me because your other clients’ dresses were fine.”

She then added a stinging statement: “Karma is a mutherf***a.”

Social Media Erupts and the Name Drops Begin

Krishawn ended her post with a promise to let the story spread further.

She mentioned she would be revealing names publicly in the coming days and hinted that the designer had underestimated her.

“Yes bitch, I’m smarter than you,” she wrote, signaling this feud might not be over just yet.

As prom stories go, this one definitely stands out—but not for the right reasons.
