Delivery Driver Ruins Christmas for Nine Year Old Boy by Putting His Prized Flipbook in Bin in Bransgore

Christmas excitement quickly turned into heartbreak for nine-year-old Louis Tremblay after a delivery mishap ruined what should have been a joyful holiday.

All Louis wanted this year was a special flipbook from popular US YouTuber Andymation — a gift that had been carefully selected by his family across the Atlantic.

The Gift That Never Made It

The flipbook, costing over £50, was the only thing on Louis’s Christmas list.

His parents, Lauren and Adam, had been eagerly anticipating its arrival in their Bransgore home.

But instead of being delivered to their door, the package ended up in a bin outside the house — a mistake that went unnoticed until it was too late.

Footage Reveals the Shocking Mistake

Curious about the delay, Lauren and Adam checked their video doorbell footage.

What they saw left them stunned: the delivery driver walked up their path, opened the bin near the front door, and simply dropped the gift inside before walking away — without ringing the doorbell or leaving any note.

A few days later, the bin — along with Louis’s much-anticipated present — was collected.

Heartbreak for a Young Fan

When Lauren had to break the news to Louis, the little boy was left in floods of tears.

“Louis is obsessed with flipbooks and Andymation,” she said.

“We had been waiting and waiting for it to arrive, and when we finally discovered what happened, we were stunned.”

A Gift From Afar

The flipbook was only available in the US, so relatives there had purchased it and shipped it to the family in Bransgore.

Unfortunately, because the family didn’t receive any delivery notifications, they had no idea it had arrived.

“We thought it was taking a long time,” Lauren explained, “so we checked with our relatives, and they told us it had been delivered on December 8.”

Attempts to Resolve the Issue

Adam has been trying to contact the delivery company, Evri, to sort out the situation.

Despite repeated calls and emails, the couple was told the tracking number was invalid.

“It was just awful having to tell Louis what had happened — he was devastated,” Lauren said.

Refunds and Reorders

The family in the US has been refunded the cost of the flipbook and has filed a formal complaint with Evri.

Unfortunately, the item is sold out and will not be available to reorder until the end of February, leaving Louis without his much-desired Christmas gift.

Shock and Confusion

Lauren expressed disbelief at the delivery driver’s actions: “I just can’t understand why you would put a parcel in the bin.

It could be being collected that day for all you would know.”

The family hopes that by sharing their story, others can avoid similar disappointment.

Evri’s Response Pending

Evri has been contacted for comment, but no official statement has been provided yet.

In the meantime, Lauren, Adam, and Louis are left navigating the emotional fallout from a delivery gone wrong, reminding everyone that even small mistakes can have a big impact during the holidays.
