Delay in FAAC meeting: Kwara Governor approves payment of December salary

The Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has approved the immediate payment of December salary to the civil servants in the state.

This is sequel to the postponement of FAAC meeting on the release of federal allocations to states.

The governor’s action is to enable civil servants meet up with their needs, during the forthcoming Christmas and New Year celebration without financial difficulties.

The approval comes while states await the release of federal allocations and testifies to the government’s commitment to workers’ welfare.
