“Defence Minister Shoygu wants operation in Ukraine go faster” says Kadyrov

During a meeting with Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoygu outlined new targets to improve the efficiency and speed of the special operation in Ukraine.

“We substantively discussed the issues of the special operation for denazification and demilitarization in Ukraine, and determined further ways of interaction,” Kadyrov wrote on his Telegram channel.

Shoygu also requested that he express his gratitude to the fighters who took part in the special operation, according to him.

“I am sure that our further cooperation will significantly improve the efficiency of solving the tasks set by the Supreme Commander,” Kadyrov concluded.

Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov has frequently stated that the special operation must be ended as quickly as feasible. In April, Kadyrov addressed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who stated that he was willing to battle Russia for ten years if necessary.

“He’s a fool, we don’t have so much time, we’ll finish with you one of these days. He has schizophrenia,” Kadyrov said.

He also suggested that Zelensky meet with Putin if the Ukrainian president was willing to talk.

In addition, when asked about the special operation’s progress, Kadyrov stated that Putin should let the military guys to complete what they started.

“With pleasure,” the Chechen president added, the fighters “help, defend, and cleanse Ukraine from Banderites.” Kadyrov also requested that Putin issue orders for the military to take control of Kharkiv, Kyiv, and other Ukrainian cities.

Kadyrov is the only Russian regional governor who actively comments on the special operation’s progress in Ukraine. Ramzan Kadyrov personally visited the conflict zone. He updates his Telegram channel on a regular basis, detailing how his fighters operate and how they seize Ukrainian settlements. He also shares photos and videos from the front lines.

Every week, he claims, up to 200 good soldiers will leave for Ukraine to “fight the enemies of humanity.” Chechen volunteers receive a one-time payment of 300,000 rubles, according to one of Kadyrov’s videos. In addition to one-time payments, Russian Defense Ministry volunteers receive a daily payment equivalent to $53 from the Russian Defense Ministry.
