COVID-19: Nigeria Confirms 859 New Cases

Nigeria has confirmed 859 new cases of the deadly coronavirus also known as COVID-19.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control NCDC disclosed this on Tuesday morning via its official Facebook page.

“Today’s report includes 859 new cases are reported from 14 States – Lagos (555), FCT (57), Rivers (44), Plateau (43), Edo (41), Ondo (34), Kwara (23), Kano (18), Ogun (16), Enugu (11), Oyo (6), Delta (5), Bauchi (3), and Bayelsa (3)” NCDC explained.

These latest figures bring the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 238420 cases have been confirmed, 212770 cases have been discharged and 3024 deaths.
