COVID-19: Nigeria confirms 404 new cases

Nigeria has confirmed 404 new cases of the deadly coronavirus also known as COVID-19.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control NCDC confirmed the cases on Monday morning via its official Facebook page.

The NCDC explained that the new cases were recorded from 12 States- “Oyo-122, FCT-84, Lagos-52, Kaduna-51, Imo-20, Delta-18, Kano-17, Kwara-16, Rivers-11, Enugu-10, Ogun-2, Edo-1”

These latest figures bring the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 223,887 with 211,537 discharged and 2,985 COVID-19 related deaths.
