COVID-19: NCDC confirms 57 new cases

Nigeria has recorded 57 new cases of COVID-19 across the country.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced this in its daily update on the virus.

In the agency’s latest update, the cases were reported in 10 states of the federation.

Lagos state records the highest with 30 cases, Enugu-9, Rivers-7, Kaduna-3, Osun-3, Abia-1, Bauchi-1, Kano-1, Ogun-1, Plateau-1.

According to NCDC, it says,
“States with zero cases reported (4): Ekiti, Ondo, Oyo, and Sokoto.


With the latest report, 213,589 cases have been confirmed, 206,518 people discharged and 2,974 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
