No fewer than 40 indigent pupils of primary schools in katsina state have benefitted from the generosity of members of the National Youth Service Corps in Batagarawa local government Area of Katsina State, northwest Nigeria.
The Anti-Corruption Community Development Service Group of Corps members initiative followed the survey conducted on the deplorable conditions of pupils in basic primary schools in the area.
The beneficiaries were drawn from Batagarawa Low-cost Primary School and Batagarawa Model Primary School.
The president of the group, Ambali Abdulkabir revealed that as teachers in the various schools around the area, they observed that children were always not returning to school as expected.

He also called on wealthy and philanthropic Nigerians to come to the aid of the pupils by providing them some of the basic needs to enable them continue with their education and become responsible citizens in their society.
