Comedian Leslie Jones returned to guest host The Daily Show on Wednesday, and true to form, she didn’t hold back.
Known for her sharp wit and fearless style, Jones went straight after some high-profile targets — namely Elon Musk and members of the Trump administration.
What followed was a mix of biting humor, edgy language, and unapologetic truths that kept viewers both shocked and entertained.
Taking on Trump’s Cabinet with Zero Patience
Jones didn’t mince words when it came to the Trump administration.
She called out the cabinet members as “goofy-ass motherf****rs” and questioned how anyone could think America’s future was in good hands with them. Her frustration was palpable and raw.
She said, “I cannot believe America is going to be ended by these f***g loser incels.”
It was clear she had zero respect for what she called the “dumb st” happening at those cabinet meetings — especially when Elon Musk was involved.
Elon Musk Becomes the Butt of the Joke
Elon Musk was a major target of Jones’s jokes that night.
She played a clip of him sporting two MAGA hats during a meeting, quipping, “He wears a lot of hats.” But she didn’t stop there.
Jones slammed Musk for his management style, saying, “How is this guy firing people? If this guy gave me a pink slip, I’d give his a** a black eye.”
She even joked that maybe he should fire one of his hats instead.
Later, she mocked an interview Musk did with Fox News where he struggled to pick between the challenges of taking on Washington or going to Mars. Musk’s answer? Mars was harder.
Jones found that hilarious — or more like painfully clueless — and joked, “How are you going to be Mr. Jokes when you don’t even know when you’re hearing a joke?”

Jones also poked fun at Musk’s personal life, particularly the number of children he has.
Her humor got as raw and wild as ever, asking, “And how you got so many kids?” and joking that she’d rather “f**k a turkey baster” than be with someone like him.

Revisiting Controversy: The Boston MLK Statue Roast
The comedian also revisited a past controversy from her 2023 guest hosting stint where she mocked Boston’s Martin Luther King Jr. statue for looking, well, a little suggestive.
She joked about people celebrating the statue in Boston — “they are celebrating you right now,” she said — while addressing black viewers directly about the backlash it received from all sides.
“Okay, black people, what the f**k we gonna do?” she asked.
“You know it’s messed up when black people and the Proud Boys hate the same statue.”
Finding Humor and Hope in Public Art Criticism
After the tough talk, Jones got reflective. She suggested maybe the statue just needs time to grow on people — much like the Eiffel Tower, which was also heavily criticized when it was unveiled.
“Maybe it’s just a matter of time,” she said with a wink.
Jones continued the conversation with correspondent Dulcé Sloan, who pointed out that statues of MLK often miss the mark — especially the one in Washington DC, which famously doesn’t even have legs.
Sloan then turned the spotlight on white people with a sharp observation: “They know how to make a statue. It’s always a white dude on a horse.”
Jones laughed and added, “That’s what the liberals need to do — make a statue of MLK in his suit on a horse.”
