Coleen Rooney’s parents, Colette and Tony McLoughlin, are eagerly anticipating their daughter’s return from the “I’m A Celebrity” jungle.
The couple flew out to Australia with Coleen’s youngest children, Kit and Cass, ready to meet her when she leaves the show.
They arrived at Manchester Airport in the morning with their grandkids, all set for their Emirates flight to Brisbane.

Family Moments Before the Flight
As the family prepared for their long journey, six-year-old Cass was seen clutching a cuddly kangaroo toy and a figure of his dad, Wayne Rooney, dressed in a football kit.
Colette shared her pride for Coleen, expressing how excited they all were to see her.
“She’s doing very well,” Colette said, adding that her daughter had a real shot at winning the show.
“She’s got a chance,” Colette smiled, dressed in a khaki outfit, while Tony also praised Coleen’s performance so far.
“We’re all very proud of how she’s doing,” he said.
Packing Up for the Big Trip
The McLoughlins, along with Kit and Cass, arrived at the airport in two vehicles—one for the family and another for their luggage.
Kit was seen rolling his suitcase, emblazoned with “KR” in bold red letters.
The family was set for a 13:10 flight to Dubai, which would connect to Brisbane in the early hours.
While the younger kids were making the trip, Coleen’s older sons, Kai and Klay, opted to stay at home with their dad, Wayne, who is busy managing Plymouth Argyle.
Coleen’s Family Life and Her Decision to Join the Show
Before leaving, Coleen shared her reasons for not bringing her older sons along.
She explained, “I think I said when you come you’ll have to bring your work with you, and they would be missing some football tournaments, so they quickly changed their minds.”
Though she would have liked the whole family to come, Coleen agreed with her sons’ decision to stay home, particularly because of their commitments to school and football.
“Obviously, I would have liked them all to come out, but it makes sense in a way,” Coleen added.
She seemed content with their choices and knew she had prepared everything at home to ensure their routines would continue smoothly.
Coleen’s Bold Move to Join “I’m A Celebrity”
Coleen’s decision to take part in the show, after years of staying out of the public eye, raised some eyebrows.
“It’s a one-off adventure and it’s a test,” Coleen said.
“With everything being so busy and caught up in technology, I felt like now’s the time I could do something just for me.”
She believes the experience has allowed her to step out of her comfort zone, challenging herself in a way that no other opportunity could.
Her stint on the show has given the public a closer look at her, as she revealed more of her personality to the cameras.
“It’s the most I’ve ever been exposed,” she shared.
“People have opinions about those in the public eye, and now they get to see me for me.”
Wayne Rooney’s Role Back Home
While Coleen is in the jungle, her husband Wayne is tied up with his responsibilities at Plymouth Argyle.
He is unlikely to fly to Australia to meet her, given his busy schedule with the team.
Before her departure, Coleen made sure everything was in place at home, including a meticulous plan for their children’s activities, which included football runs, parties, and school events.
“I’ve got an army of people—family, friends, school friends—all helping out with the kids. They’ll be fine,” she reassured her followers on Instagram.
Oti Mabuse’s Family Also Heads to Australia
Meanwhile, Oti Mabuse’s family has also arrived in Australia.
Oti’s husband, Marius Lapure, flew in with their 13-month-old daughter and Oti’s mother, Dudu Mabuse, ahead of the upcoming vote-offs.
Marius, who has been supporting his wife from afar, was seen smiling as he carried their little girl through the airport.
Oti, who has yet to face a Bushtucker trial, has remained low-key on the show, and Marius expressed his belief that it’s been a good thing for her.
Looking After the Family at Home
Marius opened up about the challenges of caring for their daughter while Oti is in the jungle.
He had long known that Oti was keen to take part in the show, and they had discussed it for years.
“She always said she would love to do it,” he said.
“I’m used to looking after kids since I teach dance, and we have great help from our families.”
Marius admitted he’s enjoyed the time spent with their daughter, especially watching her sleep soundly, even delaying their exit from the plane to let her rest a little longer.
