Though Chrisland schools management stated that the female pupil was one of 76 students who represented the school at the Dubai event, which took place between March 8 and 14, 2022, it also stated that the allegation of r*pe was false, noting that the two students engaged in “s*xual misconduct” in a game called “Truth or Dare” after lights out.

The female student (name withheld) was then suspended indefinitely by the school authorities, who said she was “a main performer” in the “immoral act.” However, the pupil’s mother claimed in a viral video that her daughter was drugged and raped by some of the school’s male students.

According to BrandNewsDay Nigeria, the Lagos State Government closed all Chrisland Schools in the state indefinitely on Monday, pending the conclusion of a security probe.

Meanwhile, according to BrandNewsDay, the Chrisland Schools event was one of many recent incidences of bullying and molestations in secondary schools.
