Jada Pinkett-Smith could be seen rolling her eyes when the joke was delivered. The former Fresh Prince, who appeared to try and laugh it all off at one stage, then left his seat to slap Chris Rock, and told him to ‘keep his wife’s name out of his f***ing mouth’. The flustered presenter then tried to keep the show going.

  • For those who can handle the cringe, we’ve also got a full and uncensored version here:

It’s quite possible that this beef has been cooking for a while, though. Six years ago, Chris Rock made a comment about Jada Pinkett-Smith boycotting the Oscars ceremony – which didn’t go down well with the married couple.

No wonder that slap went so hard, then. It’s been loading since 2016…

“Jada said she’s not coming, and I was like, ‘Isn’t she on a TV show?’ Jada’s gonna boycott the Oscars? Jada boycotting the Oscars is like me boycotting Rihanna’s panties. I wasn’t invited!”
