Chido Cargo And Maritime Services Launched In Onitsha

The Chief Executive Officer of Chido Group of Companies, Mr. Chidozie Idoko has launched the Chido Cargo and Maritime Services.

The ceremony which took place at the company’s office, in Onitsha, kicked off with a Holy Mass officiated by the parish priest, Bascilica of the Most Holy Trinity Onitsha Reverend Father John Ezeanowai.

ABS Correspondent Faith Onyemuche reports that the ceremony attracted the religious, business executives, government functionaries including the Enugu State Commissioner for Rural Development, Prince Chukwuemeka Mamah.

Speaking during the event, Mr Idoko who hails from Enugu State said Chido Cargo and Maritime Services is all about shipment of goods, stating that the company has built a good customer relationship not just in Nigeria but also in the Peoples Republic of China.

He expressed relief with the presence of the Anambra International Cargo and Passenger Airport, saying that it will ease some of the challenges facing the business.

He commended Governor Willie Obiano and the Commissioner for Trade and Commerce Mr Uchenna Okafor for making the business environment conducive for non-indigenes and thanked Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, the Commissioner for Rural Development in Enugu State, Mr Chukwuemeka Mamah for their support.

Earlier in a homily, Reverend Farther John Ezeanowai said people should acknowledge God in all they do, and commended Chido Group of Companies for placing God at the center of their business.

Declaring the offices open for business activities, the Commissioner for Rural Development in Enugu State, Mr Mamah said he is impressed with the fast development in the market.

The Commissioner who represented Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi stated that Covid-19 has exposed people to various businesses they can venture into from the comfort of their homes and prayed for more progress in the company.

Others who spoke to the ABS including the wife of the Chief Executive Officer of Chido Group of Companies, Mrs. Sussan Idoko, a close relative Mrs. Obioma Idoko, the Caretaker Committee Chairman of Ochanja Central Market Mr. Sunday Anakor, some Business  associates including Messrs Nwabueze Umeh, Godwin Uzoigwe and Amaechi Ezeanaka commended Mr. Idoko for his business ingenuity, customers satisfaction and good customer relationship that has existed between the company, staff and clients for the past two years, praying for God’s wisdom on him to run the business.
