Chelsea Handler Opens Up About Her Mystery Boyfriend While Sparking Romance Rumors With Ralph Fiennes at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party in Beverly Hills

Chelsea Handler caught the public’s eye on Sunday night, sparking rumors of a potential romance with actor Ralph Fiennes.

The two were seen leaving the Vanity Fair Oscar Party together in Beverly Hills, with Handler on Fiennes’ arm and both of them wearing big smiles.

But are they really a couple, or is Handler already seeing someone else?

Chelsea Opens Up About Her Mystery Man

The 50-year-old comedian, who has a massive social media following of 18 million, quickly set the record straight the following Monday.

After arriving in Seattle, Handler took to Instagram to share an update with her fans.

“I’m very hungover you guys,” she admitted in a candid Instastory. “I went to some Oscars parties last night.”

As if teasing her followers, Handler playfully added, “If you saw pictures of me, you’ll know that you want to have what I’m having.”

But it wasn’t long before she opened up about her love life, revealing a mysterious man had been in the picture for the past nine months.

A Relationship on Her Terms

During an interview on The Jamie Kern Lima Show—a segment that had been taped earlier in February—Handler confessed that she’s been dating someone.

“I have someone that I’m seeing now that I’m very attracted to and that I like having sex with, and so that’s a really good like nice little thing I have going,” she shared.

However, Handler quickly made it clear that she doesn’t see herself as the “relationship type.”

“I don’t think of myself as a relationship person. I think of myself as a purpose person,” she explained.

For Handler, her focus is on her mission in life, which includes inspiring people, especially women, and spreading optimism.

Handler’s Approach to Love and Life

Handler went on to elaborate about her perspective on relationships, saying, “Any man that’s in my life is not the main character.

That’s a side relationship, and I love them, and I want to respect everybody, but that’s not my main M.O. in life. I’m not that kind of person.”

Handler has had her share of public relationships in the past, including with comedian Jo Koy, chef Bobby Flay, hotelier André Balazs, rapper 50 Cent, comedian David Alan Grier, and former Comcast Entertainment Group CEO Ted Harbert.

Wrapping Up Her Book Tour and Looking Ahead

On Monday, Handler wrapped up her six-date I’ll Have What She’s Having book tour, which concluded at Elliot Bay in Seattle, WA.

There, she read a passage from her seventh book and greeted her fans, sharing her appreciation for the beautiful Seattle skyline. “Look how beautiful the light is here in Seattle.

I love the skyline,” she said, before jokingly adding, “I could do without this f***ing ferris wheel, but look at this beautiful view.”

Handler’s next performance will be stand-up comedy at The Chelsea in Las Vegas, NV, on March 21.

So while romance rumors swirl, Handler continues to focus on her career and purpose.
