Cat Deeley’s Hilarious Mouth-Stuffing Challenge on This Morning Surprises Ben Shephard and Sparks a Fun Discussion About Guinness World Records in the UK

On a recent episode of This Morning, Cat Deeley caught her co-host Ben Shephard off guard with a cheeky joke, all while stuffing an entire apple and three Wagon Wheels into her mouth.

It all started when Cat decided to entertain viewers by cramming a bunch of food into her mouth—showing off her impressive ability to consume nearly anything that came her way.

A World Record Challenge

But there was more to this than just Cat’s snack-filled antics.

The duo was joined by Marie Pearl Zellmer Robinson, a woman from Alaska who recently earned a Guinness World Record for having the world’s largest mouth gape for a female.

As they chatted with Marie via video call, she shared her childhood habit of putting random items in her mouth—something she had forgotten about until she tried to impress a guy by fitting Jenga bricks into her mouth.

The Mouth Challenge Begins

Ben and Cat, eager to see if they could match Marie’s mouth-gaping talent, had a variety of items placed in front of them, including an apple, orange, tennis ball, baseball, and a baked bean tin.

Cat, without hesitation, popped an orange into her mouth—followed by an apple—while the iconic Tom Jones song “She’s A Lady” played in the background.

As the challenge progressed, Cat jokingly remarked, “Misspent youth,” before moving on to the baseball, which she struggled to fit into her mouth.

Wagon Wheels and A Fun Throwback

Ben, seizing the moment, decided to bring up a classic Cat moment from years ago, asking if she had ever tried the famous UK snack, Wagon Wheels.

“You have to try these chocolate biscuits!” he said, introducing the treat with a playful tone.

The segment quickly took a nostalgic turn as they showed a clip from 2000, when Cat appeared on The Springer Show and successfully managed to shove three Wagon Wheels into her mouth.

Ben couldn’t help but joke, “I’ve said it before, she’s not as expensive as she looks,” leaving Cat laughing.

Cat’s Sweet Victory

With determination, Cat tackled the challenge and successfully stuffed all three Wagon Wheels into her mouth.

Ben, the crew, and even Marie cheered her on as she completed the impressive feat.

“And that’s why they pay me the big bucks!” Cat joked, clearly proud of herself.

Ben, ever the curious co-host, asked if Cat might someday try to match Marie’s world record.

Marie, ever supportive, replied, “With a bit of practice, you’ve got to hold that open really hard!”

This Morning airs weekdays on ITV1 at 10 am and is available to stream on ITVX.
