A retired Sheffield homeowner, John Schofield, 67, has expressed his frustration after two unsightly telegraph poles were installed outside his residence in a picturesque cul-de-sac.
He described them as an eyesore that distracts from the scenic beauty, especially visible from his living room windows.

Mr. Schofield reported his persistent complaints before the poles’ installation after noticing objection notices regarding the masts. Despite his efforts to communicate with BT’s Pole Objection Team, no response was received. The homeowner claimed that despite objections from residents and even involvement from their MP, the poles were still installed in November 2022.
