Former NASCAR champion Brian Vickers has confirmed he is divorcing his wife, Sarah Kellen.

The news comes after years of speculation and controversy surrounding Kellen’s alleged connection to the disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein.

The couple married in 2015, but Vickers was largely silent on social media after his wife faced serious allegations of recruiting young women for Epstein’s sex trafficking operation.

Sarah Kellen and the Epstein Scandal

Sarah Kellen, who has also used the name Sarah Kensington, has long been at the center of accusations related to Epstein’s activities.

Allegedly, she kept a list of young women who were recruited for Epstein’s purposes, a claim that has been made in multiple lawsuits.

Kellen’s name was also included in the controversial 2008 plea deal that Epstein struck in Florida, which granted immunity to some of his associates.

Despite these accusations, Kellen has never been criminally charged.

In 2022, US District Judge Alison Nathan declared Kellen “criminally responsible” for her role in Epstein’s sex trafficking scheme while sentencing Ghislaine Maxwell to 20 years in prison.

However, Kellen continues to deny the allegations and has not been held accountable in a court of law.

Vickers Breaks His Silence on Social Media

After years of staying out of the public eye, Vickers took to social media on April 14, 2025, to announce his divorce.

In a heartfelt statement, he shared a personal message with his followers.

Alongside a photo of a billboard reading, “Delete that old version of me in your head, it expired,” Vickers wrote, “After ten years of marriage and five years under a rock on social media, I’m coming out of digital hiding to share some heavy news: Sarah and I are getting divorced.”

The 41-year-old went on to express gratitude for their time together, reflecting on both the joyous and challenging moments. He added, “I’m grateful for the learning.

I’m grateful for the growth. Now that the dust has settled, I’m more grateful than ever for the clarity.”

A Step Back from Public Life

Vickers’ divorce announcement marked his first post on social media in five years.

His previous posts had attracted overwhelming attention due to the ongoing controversy surrounding his wife.

In his new post, he hinted at returning to the digital world, stating, “Here’s the good news: You can expect a bit more action out of me in the coming months.

I’m back on my digital game and ready to keep y’all in the loop again.”

Kellen’s Denial and Claims of Abuse

While Vickers has opened up about the divorce, Sarah Kellen has remained silent on the matter.

In 2020, she vehemently denied being involved in Epstein’s illegal activities.

She told The Sun, “I’ve been made out to be such a monster — but it’s not true. I’m a victim of Jeffrey Epstein. I was raped and abused weekly.”

Vickers’ Racing Career

Brian Vickers, who stepped away from NASCAR in 2016, was a successful driver in the sport.

He won three NASCAR Cup Series races and was the 2003 Xfinity Series champion.

Unfortunately, his racing career was cut short at the age of 32 due to health problems, including struggles with blood clots.

In 2015, Vickers also underwent corrective heart surgery to address a congenital condition.

Despite his early retirement, Vickers remains a notable figure in NASCAR history.
