Breaking: NAICOM Warns Against Fraudulent Recruitment Websites

In an age where the internet serves as a global village, a recent warning issued by the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) has unveiled the darker side of this virtual world. In a formal statement, NAICOM has alerted the public against fraudulent recruitment websites that purport to represent the commission and advertise false employment opportunities.

The commission clarified that it is currently not conducting any recruitment. The Head of Corporate Affairs, Rasaaq Salami, was categorical in his assertion that any information suggesting otherwise is patently false. These fraudulent websites, which are not endorsed by NAICOM, prey on unsuspecting individuals by creating a mirage of non-existent employment opportunities.

NAICOM Not Offering Grants or Financial Assistance

Furthermore, the regulator has dismissed claims by these websites of offering grants or financial assistance programs. This clarification comes in the wake of several false assertions made by the fraudulent sites, which sought to misrepresent NAICOM’s intentions and operations.

NAICOM has advised the public to disregard such misinformation and stressed that it will not be liable for any losses incurred due to interactions with these fraudulent sites. The commission has also taken steps to address any concerns or queries by reminding individuals to refer only to its official website for accurate information regarding recruitment or other official communications. The public is also encouraged to use NAICOM’s recognized communication channels for any queries.
