Brandy is “resting” following a health scare

Following a health scare, Brandy is “getting the rest (she) needs.”

The 43-year-old singer was reportedly sent to a Los Angeles hospital on Tuesday, October 11, after a possible seizure, but she has since taken to social media to reassure her fans and express gratitude for their support.

“To my dear family, friends, and stars, thank you for sending me love and light,” the “Boy Is Mine” hitmaker wrote on Instagram. Due to dehydration and malnutrition, I am according to my doctor’s directions and receiving the necessary rest.

“We appreciate your prayers and support. “Thankful for everyone, see you soon (love and star emojis)”

Brandy did not elaborate on her health scare or answer rumors that she had experienced a seizure.

In June 2017, however, the “Moesha” diva was transported to a hospital after being discovered unconscious on a Los Angeles-to-New York City Delta aircraft.

At the time, a representative for the actress, who is the sister of singer Ray J, stated, “She has been traveling extensively as part of an ongoing tour and several personal appearances. In recent days, she has taken over ten international and domestic long-haul flights.

She spent the entirety of last night at the studio until it was time to leave for the airport to catch a 5.45am flight.

At the time, the chart-topping artist was reportedly “exhausted” due to her demanding work schedule.

Her representative stated, “The stress of all of the traveling and constant work has tired her.” She will spend the next three days relaxing.”
