In a concerning incident, a car lost control and crashed into a campsite, resulting in injuries to nine individuals.

The incident took place at Newgale campsite situated on the Pembrokeshire coast in west Wales.

The unfortunate event occurred shortly after 10:30 pm on Saturday.

The Crash Details

The vehicle involved in the incident was a blue Ford Fiesta, which was carrying several passengers.

The car veered off the road and ploughed into both individuals and a tent within the campsite.

The crash site is located on the Pembrokeshire coast, specifically in Newgale.

Serious Injuries Reported

Among the victims, two individuals are reported to be in a serious condition and are currently receiving medical treatment at a hospital.

Disturbingly, even passengers within the car suffered injuries as a result of the collision.

The car’s journey prior to the crash is believed to have started in the village of Roch and was heading towards St Davids.

Unfortunately, the vehicle crashed off the A487 road during this journey.

Dyfed Powys Police released a statement on Sunday confirming the road’s temporary closure for investigation purposes.

The road was reopened at approximately 7:45 am the same day.

The police are actively seeking any information related to the incident, particularly regarding the blue Ford Fiesta and its occupants.

Authorities are urging individuals who might possess relevant information, such as dash-cam footage or doorbell footage, to come forward.
