Bisi Akande Expects Good Governance and Party Restructuring from President Tinubu

Speaking after a meeting with President Tinubu at the Aso Rock Villa in Abuja, Akande emphasized the anticipation for the reinvigoration of the party and the establishment of effective governance in Nigeria.

He stated that the APC has a track record of bringing good governance to the country, and Nigerians should expect nothing less.

Assessment of President Tinubu’s Performance: Akande’s Positive Outlook

When asked to assess President Tinubu’s performance during the initial days in office, Akande responded positively, highlighting the satisfaction of the people.

He explained that the people are happy with President Tinubu, which was evident from his ability to visit the President during the daytime.

Akande praised the perception of the country and the general contentment among Nigerians with the new administration.

Timing for Advice and Observing President Tinubu’s Actions

Regarding offering advice to the President, Chief Akande indicated that it is not yet the appropriate time.


He emphasized that they are closely observing President Tinubu’s actions and currently see no need for advice.

Akande reiterated the satisfaction of Nigerians with the President’s performance, stating that if any complaints arise in the future, then it would be the right time to provide advice.

A Visit of Companionship and Prayer

Akande shared the purpose of his visit to the President, describing it as a gesture of friendship and curiosity.

As a villager from Osun State, he expressed his interest in observing how the President lives in the city.

Acknowledging the President’s busy schedule, Akande humorously mentioned their conversation about creating a Nigerian equivalent of Camp David for the President’s relaxation.

He highlighted that their meeting involved light-hearted discussions, friendly banter, and prayers for Nigeria’s wellbeing.
