Biden Administration Faces Accusations of Discriminating Against White Farmers in USDA Loan Forgiveness Program Across the United States

When it comes to farm loan forgiveness, a whistleblower has dropped a bombshell revealing secret discrimination within the Biden Administration.

According to an insider at the USDA, the agency prioritized loan forgiveness only for minority farmers while leaving white farmers out in the cold.

This has stirred up major controversy over whether the government’s policies unfairly favored some based on race.

Whistleblower Exposes Race-Based Loan Forgiveness

The USDA employee told NewsNation that the loan forgiveness program was designed to “pay off anyone who wasn’t a white male’s loan.”

The policy, the whistleblower said, was explicitly based on race, and officials tried to keep it quiet because of the obvious racial implications.

This loan forgiveness initiative was buried inside the American Rescue Plan Act, which authorized payments covering up to 120 percent of outstanding debt—but only for what the law defined as “socially disadvantaged farmers or ranchers.”

Legal Challenges and Exclusion of White Farmers

After the program was ruled unconstitutional, the Biden Administration reportedly sent emails to minority farmers about new relief options under the Inflation Reduction Act.

This email, offering $3.1 billion in aid to those behind on payments, was not sent to white farmers, further fueling accusations of racial bias.

One white farmer, James Dunlap from Baker City, Oregon, shared his frustration with NewsNation.

Despite working two extra jobs to keep his farm afloat, Dunlap didn’t qualify for forgiveness because of the ethnicity box he checked on his application.

His experience is not unique—many white farmers have sued the administration, arguing the program violates constitutional protections.

A federal judge agreed, ruling that these farmers were harmed in ways “that cannot be undone.”

Continuing Questions About USDA Practices

Despite the legal setback, the USDA continued its outreach to minority farmers with letters encouraging them to apply for loan relief under the Inflation Reduction Act.

The whistleblower also claimed that some USDA employees were even told to advise minority farmers to stop making loan payments to qualify for forgiveness—a tactic critics call both unethical and discriminatory.

USDA Response and Political Fallout

The USDA spokesperson did not directly address these claims but criticized the Biden Administration for mismanagement, saying it left the agency in “complete disarray and dysfunction.”

The statement also accused Biden’s policies of hurting the entire farm economy and criticized the use of taxpayer money on “woke DEI initiatives” rather than merit-based programs.

The spokesperson highlighted that the current USDA leadership under Trump appointee Brooke Rollins is reviewing the funding to ensure programs focus on supporting farmers regardless of race or politics.

The goal, they said, is to promote unity, equality, and a “color-blind” approach going forward.
