The #GhostNation (which is Themba Mavuso’s legion of fans) is in tatters as their favourite housemate for the 2022 edition of Big Brother Mzansi was not crowned the ultimate winner of the competition on Sunday 3 April.
It was Michelle Mphowabadimo Mvundla who walked away with the R2 million cash prize and the Big Brother Mzansi season 3 bragging rights.
Day 71 of 71 finally arrived as the top five remaining housemates got ready to leave the Big Brother house with one of them crowned the winner. Mphowabadimo (the last woman standing), Gash1, Themba, Libo and Thulz were all dressed up and ready to hear their fate from Lawerance Maleka.
One by one, the housemates were eliminated, starting with Thulz who was shortly followed by his best friend in the house, Libo. The two Eastern Cape boys accepted defeat with grace as they left the house to join Lawerance and the audience on stage.
THEMBA COULD NOT HIDE HIS DISAPPOINTMENT
Next to leave was Themba aka “The Ghost” – probably one of the most confident of all five housemates. The 30-year-old tattoo artist looked rather upset as he left the house knowing that “his R2 million” was actually not his.
Even on stage, as he was reminded of his most memorable moments of the show, Themba did not react. In fact, his disappointment was so intense that even a performance by Zakes Bantwini did not cut it.
#GHOST NATION REACTS TO THEMBA
Themba was obviously not the only one who could not handle the fact that he was not crowned the season 3 winner. Taking to Twitter, his fans also expressed their disappointment.
