Last week, the presenter said an emotional farewell during her Sunday morning program.

Helen Skelton’s decision to leave Radio 5 Live was’respected’ by the BBC today, which also praised her as a ‘great host’ as executives promised listeners some ‘interesting news’.

The host said a tearful goodbye during her Sunday morning stint, explaining she was leaving the program after just a year because she was finding it difficult to juggle work and family obligations.

The children of Ms. Skelton, 40, and her ex-husband Richie Myler, 33, a scrum half for the rugby league team Leeds Rhinos, are Ernie, 8, Louis, 5, and Elsie, 19 months.

The broadcaster was recently criticized by BBC executives for endorsing products while she was employed by the organization.

Her resignation, however, “has nothing to do with any other issue other than those outlined in her sign off,” a BBC spokesman said today.

They said, “Helen is an excellent broadcaster who has done a fantastic job hosting Sunday mornings,” in a formal statement.

We respect her choice and are forward to collaborate with her on future 5 Live programming.

“As for what’s coming up for Sunday mornings, we’ll update our listeners with some exciting news in due course,” the announcer said.

In April of last year, Ms. Skelton made the announcement that she and Mr. Myler, an Irish rugby league player, were divorcing.

When she explained her decision to move on to co-host Lloyd Griffith yesterday, her voice broke.

I’m not quite right about it, but needs must, she remarked.

The juggling is genuine.

The TV and radio personality told listeners that there was an eight-year-old with a sideline who needed her, adding that she wanted to be able to see her kids play in their weekend sporting events.

Ms. Skelton declared that she had “loved every minute of the last year” as her program came to an end.

“Thank you to the entire team and to all of you,” she continued.

It’s challenging to speak without becoming emotional.

Last August, Ms. Skelton replaced Laura Whitmore as host of the 5 Live program.

It was revealed last week that Ms. Skelton had a conversation with network executives as a result of her promotion of brands on the BBC1 show Morning Live.

While employed by the BBC, the broadcaster violated the organization’s strict rules by tagging the names of apparel, jewelry, and cake manufacturers in images on her Instagram account.

Brands including footwear distributor Kurt Geiger, upscale apparel line ME+EM, and high-end designer WYSE London were mentioned by the presenter in her posts.

No on-air talent is allowed to advertise items they use, according to the rules.

The BBC, which is supported by license fees, forbids product placements or advertising on its website, radio programs, or television broadcasts.

Since then, Ms. Skelton has taken the tags off and has not been compensated for naming the companies.

According to a BBC representative, Helen purchases the clothing she sports on the program and has no affiliation with the firms mentioned.

Brand mentions have since been taken out of social media posts related to the program.

It happens at a time when Ms. Skelton had just started dating again.

‘Helen’s family and friends encouraged her to get back out there, and she was eager to dip her toe back into the dating scene, but she has had some wobbles and found herself feeling terrible,’ a source said in an interview with Closer Magazine.

She worries about making the right decisions for her life and about not being accepted.

Additionally, some people have criticized her for not trying hard enough to make things work with Richie, which has caused her to reflect on her marriage and what went wrong.

In the end, she is aware that despite her best efforts, there was just no turning back after the trust had been betrayed.

But she’s been having trouble with some unexpected feelings that have come up since she started dating again.

It follows a source telling OK! magazine that she is not yet ready for a long-term, all-in relationship because her trust was betrayed.

She isn’t excluding herself from anything now, though.

She is eager for new experiences in every way and is attempting to say “yes” to more exciting opportunities.

By listing the former couple’s marital house on the market, Ms. Skelton is also letting go of her ex.

‘Helen has moved on with her life and feels it’s time to start again,’ an insider reportedly told The Mirror.

She is looking for a new place to move to with the kids in the upcoming months after listing the property they shared on the market.

Since the breakup, Mr. Myler has given birth to a child with his current partner Stephanie Thirkill, 32, who is the daughter of Andrew Thirkill, the president of the Leeds Rhinos.
