Bafana Bafana: France coach Deschamps confirms Kante for South Africa

The game will be played at the Stade Pierre Mauroy on Tuesday at 21:15. It will be the first meeting since Bafana Bafana earned a 2-1 win over Les Bleus during the 2010 World Cup.

To be honest with ourselves, we’re not a powerful nation so we should not expect France’s manager Didier Deschamps to set out his A-players.

However, Deschamps has assured N’Golo Kante is one superstar we should expect on the pitch on Tuesday.

DESCHAMPS SAYS KANTE WILL PLAY

Speaking to the media before a training session on Saturday, and after beating Ivory Coast 2-1 in a friendly on Friday night, Deschamps said Kante will be involved.

“(N’Golo) Kante will be there for the second match,” Deschamps told the press according to Sports Illustrated.

“(Presnel) Kimpembe is better and will do the session,” he added.

Now it’s over to the likes of Mokoena, Mothobi Mvala, and Thabang Monare to test themselves against Kante, while Evidence Makgopa will be expected to also battle against Kimpebe’s class.
