Atmosphere TV Partners with Mercurius Media Capital in Redwood City to Provide Media Inventory for Growing Brands Across Multiple Industries

Atmosphere TV, a Redwood City-based provider of a unique video entertainment platform, has made a significant move by partnering with Mercurius Media Capital (MMC), a U.S.-based media-for-equity fund valued at approximately $90 million.

This collaboration will allow MMC’s portfolio companies to leverage Atmosphere’s extensive media inventory, which spans over 30 TV channels, to enhance their brand visibility.

Atmosphere’s Reach and Impact Across Various Industries

Atmosphere’s platform is designed for high-traffic environments like restaurants, gyms, airports, medical centers, and auto shops, where traditional TV viewership has evolved.

With content tailored for these spaces, the platform reaches over 160 million viewers each month.

By tapping into Atmosphere’s media inventory, MMC’s portfolio companies can broaden their audience and elevate their brand recognition.

The platform is currently viewed in more than 60,000 venues globally and draws in about 10 million viewers daily.

Thanks to this vast exposure, industries such as retail, travel, consumer-packaged goods, insurance, and household products have reported substantial growth in areas like brand awareness, website traffic, sales, and in-store visits.

Media Capital Model Drives Startup Growth

Mercurius Media Capital’s innovative media-for-equity approach has already propelled over 1,000 startups to success, with notable examples like Uber, Coursera, and Airbnb.

This model involves providing growing companies with media exposure in exchange for equity, helping startups scale while offering them access to large-scale advertising inventory.

MMC has formed partnerships with major media platforms like Sinclair Broadcast Group, Televisa Univision, and now Atmosphere TV, giving high-growth companies the opportunity to tap into distinctive advertising channels that would otherwise be difficult to access.

Through these partnerships, MMC-backed companies such as Deskera, RVnGo, Captain Experiences, Airtasker, and Edly are experiencing impressive growth and expanding their customer base.

Looking Ahead with Atmosphere and MMC

As Atmosphere TV continues to innovate and expand its reach across the globe, its partnership with Mercurius Media Capital is set to further strengthen the growth of the brands it supports.

CEO Blake Sabatinelli leads Atmosphere, ensuring that the platform’s unique approach to TV content will remain a key player in reshaping how entertainment reaches its audience in non-traditional settings.
