ATBU Degree Admission Form KSCOE Ankpa

Form for degree admission to Kogi State College of Education (KSCOE), Ankpa, which is affiliated with ATBU for the 2022/23 academic year.

The Directorate for Undergraduate Studies at Kogi State College of Education (KSCOE), Ankpa, under affiliation with Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi, is currently accepting forms for admission into its various degree programs for the 2022/2023 academic session.

Affiliated with Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi, the College offers a four-year Bachelor of Technology (B.TECH) Degree Programme in Science Education and Vocational Technology Education in the following areas:

KSCOE Ankpa Association with ATBU Degree Admission Requirements Applicants are required to have credit passes in English Language and Mathematics, in addition to any other three (3) disciplines pertinent to their Science or Vocational Technology Education options.

These relevant science subjects are Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Information and Communication Technology, and Agricultural Science. While Economics, Commerce, Shorthand, Accounting, Technical Drawing (TD), Woodwork, Metal Work, Automobile Tech, and Building Tech are under the purview of Vocational Technology Education.

The Credit passes must be obtained in not more than two (2) sittings for SSCE, GCE, NABTEB, and Grade II Teachers Certificate.

In addition to O-level grades, applicants must hold one of the following: NCE, ND/HND, IJMB, A’ level GCE, or Advance NABTEB Certificates from a recognized institution, with at least a lower credit in the mentioned courses of study. NCE in Science subjects OR in any field of study is admissible for Library and Information Science, provided that two (2) credit passes in Science subjects at O-level have been earned.

Waiver: NCE with a passing grade and five years of post-graduate experience is accepted.
