According to the report, the Chairman of ASUU, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Comrade Stephen Ofoarorn, said this during a press conference in Awka.
He stated that peace in the ivory towers of the country is once again imperiled as a result of the Federal Government’s unwillingness to honor the deal reached with ASUU on December 23, 2020.
Comrade Ofoaror expressed sadness that all efforts to persuade the government to respond and rectify the problems had failed miserably.
He went on to say that the government’s representatives/agents are claiming that the federal government entered into numerous agreements, MOUs, and MOAs under duress.
