ASHIA Embarks On Awareness Campaign In Awka On Benefits Of Insurance Scheme

Officials of the Anambra State Health Insurance Agency (ASHIA) have commenced sensitization and awareness creation in the streets of Awka.

Speaking to the ABS in Awka, the Executive Secretary of the Agency, Dr. Simeon Onyemaechi said that the street sensitization and awareness creation drive is to enlighten Ndi Anambra and other residents of the State about the huge benefits in the scheme.

Dr. Onyemaechi maintained that the scheme is one of the legacy projects of Governor Willie Obiano administration and urged Ndi Anambra to embrace the adoption model created by the agency to help register vulnerable Ndi Anambra into the scheme.

The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Willie Obiano on ASHIA and Pension Matters, Mr. Dozie Okpalaugo was equally present during the event, which kicked off at Agu- Awka through Ring Road to Nkwo Amaenyi, Eke Awka, Amawbia, kwata, Unizik Temporary Site, among others.
