Armed robbery in Ermelo leaves one killed and one injured

An alleged armed robbery in Ermelo’s Church Street left two guys in their late 30s/early 40s with stab wounds late last night. The males were then allegedly thrown in front of a moving vehicle, killing one of them.

At 12 a.m. Friday night, ER24 paramedics and SAPS arrived on the scene to find a deceased male lying in the road. There was nothing that could be done for the man, and ER24 proclaimed him dead on arrival.

The second man, who had minor injuries as a result of the stabbing, was treated and taken to the hospital for further treatment. The driver of the involved vehicle was unharmed in the accident.

South African police were dispatched to the scene to conduct further investigations…
