Arapaja beats Oyinlola to emerge PDP Dep National Chairman, South

Arapaja defeated his competitor, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, who received 705 votes out of a total of 3511 delegate votes.

Taofeek Arapaja, a former deputy governor in Oyo, is now the Peoples Democratic Party’s Deputy National Chairman (South) (PDP).

637 delegates did not vote, and 165 ballots were declared invalid.

In the race for the position of Deputy National Chairman, Mrs Inna Ciroma and Alhaji Umar Damagum’s votes are set to begin (North).
