The Candidate of the All-Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, for the November sixth governorship election, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, says of all the political parties in the race, only APGA has a realizable plan for the development of Anambra State.
Professor Soludo who stated this during the party’s campaign tour of Onitsha North and South Local Government Areas, stated that APGA is not contending the Anambra Governorship seat with anyone.
Professor Soludo who went further to unveil his manifesto which he described as a master plan for the growth and development of Anambra State noted that all sectors of the economy are well represented.
He assured of actualization of his campaign manifesto as a governor and promised to prudently manage all Anambra resources and called on Onitsha people to support APGA government for the benefit of everyone, adding that the Urban Renewal Program captured in his manifesto will start in Onitsha with major focus on infrastructures, road network, expansion of markets, among others.
The APGA campaign Director General and the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Solo Chukwulobelu and the member representing Anambra East and West Federal Constituency, Honourable Chinedu Obidigwe while commending the people of Onitsha for their support to APGA government, tasked them to deliver the party in the governorship election to ensure that Onitsha retains its premier position in Anambra and Igbo land.
Members of Anambra state House of Assembly from Onitsha North and South constituency including Honourable Uzoma Eli of Onitsha South Constituency One, his Constituency Two Counterpart Honourable Beverly Ikpeazu-Nkemdiche and Honourable Edward Ibuzor of Onitsha North Constituency Two all threw their weight behind APGA, Professor Soludo and Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim.
Major stakeholders in the two Local Government Areas including, community leaders, women, youths, the elderly, students, traders, party faithful among others all turned out massively in support of APGA and its candidates.
